Canyon

Canyon is enough of a kitten that her purrsonality, like her body, is still under construction.

It’s probably no coincidence she was dumped not far from a veterinarian’s house, out in the country.

At least someone spent time socializing her to people, dogs, and other cats before dropping her off.

Canyon is remarkably calm and mature at times, for a kitten her age. She’s a bit apprehensive toward humans at first and runs when she thinks she’s about to be picked up.

But we’re working on that.

She’s enjoying spending time playing with her younger and less-coordinated friends, Nikita and Karma, as they hone their feline social skills. Hide & seek and soccer are favorite pastimes.

Canyon really likes it when humans get down on the floor to play with her.

To keep her from becoming too set in her ways, Canyon needs to be in a home with at least one other cat.
