Celeste—adopted!

Photo: Celeste the cat. Celeste is enough of a kitten that her purrsonality, like her body, is still under construction. She’s a dilute calico with short legs, a cobby body, and a tail that’s always up in the air.

Celeste did not have an auspicious begining. When she came to us at 3.5 weeks, she had an upper-respiratory infection and both eyes were pasted shut. She was dehydrated, had coccidia (an intestinal parasite), fleas, and was covered with lice and their nits. She was a pretty sick kitten and vented her frustration about being in isolation by climbing the walls of her cage and “WHAN-ing” at the top of her lungs.

Now Celeste is a healthy, happy camper who is a veritable playin’ machine.

DOB: 9/15/01—Female.

Celeste likes: wrestling with her boyfriend, Louis; to climb and explore; to play with everything that moves (and most things that don’t); to cuddle.

She dislikes: isolation.
