Cheddar

DOB:  5/04/09

Female

Cheddar is enough of a kitten that her purrsonality, like her body, is still under construction. Check out her siblings Cyrus and Caleb to get a feel for her family.

Cheddar and her brothers were born to a feral mom in Oakville, Iowa, less than a year after the flood that devasted the town, leaving more feral cats than people. This litter of kittens was fortunate enough to be handled by the person serving as feral cat colony manager.

The mom cat has been spayed and returned to her colony, thanks to the Iowa Humane Alliance (IHA), with help from Best Friends Animal Society.

IHA intervened with a Trap/Neuter/Release/Manage (TNRM) program to keep the colonies from growing.

Cheddar likesher siblings; cardboard boxes; mountain climbing; hanging out with her big-cat buddy Titus Pullo.

She dislikes:not much.

These kittens will not be placed singly. They are all curious, and active playin’ machines.
