Coco—adopted!

Photo: Coco the cat.Coco is a very affectionate birdwatcher whose once-active caregiver recently died of an uncommon cancer. She’s still living at home with her housemate, Tux. For now, they are being cared for daily by friends and relatives.

Coco likes to supplement her regular diet of cat food with vegetarian fare, including snacking on nontoxic houseplants. She currently sports a "lion cut" for the summer, since her silky, medium-length coat requires regular combing.

Both Coco and Tux have been healthy, well-cared-for, and accustomed to a quiet lifestyle. Our goal is to place them in a permanent home together. Their amenities (litter box, grooming tools, and toys) will accompany them to their new home.

Please don’t let this cat’s age dissuade you from offering her a home.

DOB:  1991—Female—front declawed.

Coco likes:  catnip mice; fresh tomatoes; canned mushrooms.

She dislikes:  she likes it all.
