Frannie
is an affectionate, cheerful, people-oriented dog, who would be a wonderful
companion for a mature, dog-wise person.
In her minds eye, Frannie sees herslf as a big doglarge and in charge. This fantasy of hers becomes clear on walks. When Frannie spots a dog who is larger than she is, Frannie barks and carries on as if she were the biggest, most fierce creature within a two-mile radius. Ironically, she pretty much ignores cats and pays no heed to dogs who are smaller than she is.
Frannie has recently developed and is being treated for high blood pressure and some eye problems (anterior uveitis). She’ll be having a followup appointment at Iowa State VetMed in mid-November.
DOB: 1994Female.
Frannie likes: being with humans; dinnertime; walks.
She dislikes: many dogs, especially
those who are bigger than she is.
