Onyx came to us from the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center. She had lost most of the hair on her legs and belly, perhaps from a combination of stress and a hormonal imbalance.

Now that she’s been spayed, her fur has grown back and she looks much more normal. She does, however, tend to overgroom when she gets stressed out.

Onyx is a little bossy toward other cats, but really likes to interact with humans.
