Samantha—adopted!

Photo: Sammie the cat.Their barn cat mother was hit by a car and killed when the kittens were about two weeks old. The litter was rescued the very next day, just as the kittens were about to become “farm pond fish food.”

Check out Sammie’s siblings, Skeeter, Magi, and Pugsley.

Round-the-clock bottle-feeding and careful handling resulted in four beautifully-socialized kitties who thrive on their interactions with humans.

What we thought was a gastro/intestinal genetic anomoly in Sammie and Skeeter turned out to be a food sensitivity that has been resolved by several months on a prescription diet. Now both cats are back to a non-prescription diet and eat pretty much what they can get their paws on.

Sweet, fun, great dispositions. What more could anyone want?

DOB:  10/15/01—Female.

Sammie likes:  snuggling; playing “footsie” with feathers under the door; chasing the Cat Charmer toy.

She dislikes:  being pilled.
