Slappy White

Photo: Slappy the cat.

Slappy showed up as a friendly stray at an organic gardener’s farm that already had plenty of cared-for cats. He looked pretty good for a stray, so he probably was dumped.

He’s one of those charming, non-competitive males who seems to get along with everyone as if he’d grown up with them.

Slappy has overeactive sebaceous glands on his chin and has developed feline acne, which appears as blackheads and zits on his chin. This can become a life-long condition, but is usually controlled well with an anti-bacterial scrub.

Slappy will be placed with his menteé, Bing, who has become his best friend. The Slapster has done a wonderful job of refining Bing’s feline social skills.

DOB:  4/04—Male.

Slappy likes:  being touched; giving hugs; toys (especially ones attached to humans); to explore; playing with bugs; making starfish paws; being groomed.

He dislikes:  dogs (just don’t go there).
