Tinkerbelle

DOB:  3/03

Female

Front-declawed

Tinker lived with her elderly caregiver in a small house. Things were fine until her caregiver got sick and ended up in the hospital for a few months. Supportive family members stopped by twice each day to feed, water, and visit with Tink, but when her special person died, Tinker lost her home.

A small dog lived with Tink in the past. Tinker is not exactly welcoming to other cats, but she can be in the same room with them. Although she was not accustomed to being picked up, Tinker now accepts being held. And sometimes, she even likes it.

She is an outspoken, vocal cat and can carry on a conversation. She’s very up-front about how she feels about things. Let’s just say that her bark is worse than her bite. Tink is beginning to enjoy organized play with wand toys and Ping-Pong balls.

Tinker likesbeing reminded how beautiful she is; gentle grooming; a perch high enough that she can survey her realm; dinnertime

She dislikes:loud anything; too many things going on at once (she is not a multi-tasker

Tink would really like an older female who wants the companionship of another creature without a lot of fuss.

This cat would rather be “next to” you than “on” you. We picture her sitting next to someone on the couch reading or watching TV.
