March 28 (F)—Iowa Federation of Humane Societies (IFHS) Quarterly Board Meeting-----2-5pm, Animal Rescue League of Iowa, 5452 NE 22nd St, Des Moines, Iowa. IFHS is the statewide umbrella group for local humane societies, shelters, pounds. The board sponsors educational programs, networks throughout the state, and sets priorities for changes in state legislation regarding animals. JCHS is an organizational member and two JCHS members sit on this board. Call the HelpLine (338-3357) if you’d like a ride.
