23 (Sa)—Holiday
Open House and Benefit for JCHS-----1-7pm, 114
& 1/2 E. College St (the Hall Mall) downtown Iowa City.
To celebrate the winter holidays, the friendly vendors at
the Hall Mall hosted a benefit and donated 5% of all sales
(not just profits, gross sales) to us.
The
benefit included:
•
refreshments and music with plenty of holiday cheer
•
a Special Needs Kitties Christmas Tree to showcase JCHS
cats with special needs
•
a raffle
It
was a wonderful opportunity to spread the “spirit
of the season” to include animals in need just by
doing a little holiday shopping or dropping off a donation.
