February 13 (M)—JCHS Meeting—7pm, Iowa City Public Library, 123 S. Linn St, Meeting Room TBA , Iowa City. A member will be there a bit early to meet and help orient people new to the group. This is our regularly-scheduled monthly meeting.

January	01/20(F)—Iowa Federation of Humane Societies (IFHS) Quarterly Board Meeting—11am to 2pm at the Animal Rescue League, 5452 NE 22nd St, Des Moines, Iowa. IFHS is the statewide umbrella group for local humane societies, shelters, and pounds. Contact us f you want a ride.
February	02/8 (W)—Animal Neglect/Abuse Investigation Workshop (including animal hoarding)—8:30am to 5:30pm at ISU Scheman Building, Rooms 150 – 154, Ames, Iowa. This workshop is offered by the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association. The presenters are well-known. The workshop is FREE ($30 for optional lunch). Contact us f you want a ride.
